Lucille Rodriguez Obituary

Lucille Rodriguez passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on July 31, 1962, to Dorothy Eddy and Louis Foti, Lucille was a beloved daughter, devoted wife, cherished mother, proud grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved older brother, Louis Foti.

Lucille is survived by her devoted husband, Ginel Rodriguez; her children, William D'Ariano (Hanan D'Ariano), Deanna Galella (Danny Galella), Louis D'Ariano and her stepson, Joseph Solatto-Rodriguez (Ashley Sapp). Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in her role as Nonna. She adored her grandchildren, Liam and Mila D'Ariano, Aria Galella, and Alana Solatto-Rodriguez, and eagerly anticipated the arrival of another granddaughter later this year.

She is also survived by her siblings, Kevin Foti (Regina Foti) and Sally-Anne Cubello-Hadley (Brent Hadley); her nieces, Jacqueline Hagan, Danielle Capodicasa, Sara Hadley, and Julianne Hadley; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.

For many years, Lucille served as a secretary with the Yonkers Public Schools, where she was admired for her dedication, compassion, and welcoming spirit. Following her retirement, she devoted herself to the role she treasured most, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Whether gathered for holidays, celebrating special milestones, or sharing simple everyday moments, Lucille found lasting happiness in the company of those she loved.

Lucille had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. Her generous heart, quiet strength, sharp wit, and steadfast devotion to her family left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Even in her final moments, Lucille's selflessness remained evident. Through the donation of her kidneys, she gave the gift of life to others, leaving a legacy of compassion, and hope that reflected the values by which she lived each day.

While her family mourns the profound loss of her presence, they find comfort in the treasured memories she leaves behind and in the enduring love she instilled in those closest to her. Her legacy will continue through her family, her friendships, and the many lives she touched throughout her life.

Deeply loved by all who knew her, Lucille will be forever missed.
