Maria Lalli, age 89, of City Island died Monday, August 9, 2010. Mrs. Lalli was born November 13, 1920 in New YorkCity the daughter of the late Abramo and Anna (Famone) Califano. Beloved wife of the late John Lalli. Devoted mother of the late Nicholas Lalli and Bonnie. Loving grandmother of Nicholas J. Lalli and Lisa Scalice. Dear great grandmother of Nicole and Dominic Scalice. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 at St. Mary Star Of The Sea, City Island Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
