Margaret "Margie" Ellen Kennedy, nèe Mooney, passed away on November 3, 2015 after a long illness. Margie was born on May 6, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio. She was one of ten children; her parents were Patrick and Margaret Mooney. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, William Joseph Kennedy, to whom she was married for fifty-one years. Margie is survived by her three children Kathleen (George) Lambert of Mt. Kisco, NY; William Michael (Margaret) Kennedy of Harrison, NY; Kevin (Lucy) Kennedy of Greenwich, CT., and her six grandchildren: Patricia Lambert Gent, Michael Lambert, Karen Kennedy Murphy, Michael Kennedy, Claire Kennedy and Patrick Kennedy: all of whom she adored. She is also survived by four siblings, James Mooney of Hudson, Florida; Helen Mooney of Muncy, PA; Patty (Russ) Pamer of Springfield; Ohio and Mary (Stetson) Oster of Fort Lauderdale, FL. and her sister-in-law, Eileen Kennedy Fleming of Dobbs Ferry, NY, as well as many nieces and nephews. Five siblings predeceased her. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Church of St. John and St. Mary, Chappaqua, NY on November 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
