Mary Iannucci, age 94, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015. She was born on November 7, 1921 in Glassport, PA to the late Filomena and Comino Como who then moved their family to Yonkers in 1929. In 1948, she married the late John D. Iannucci. They had two children, Patricia and John, who survive along with her brother, Anthony Como. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lena Ottmer and Louise Shevadowsky, and her brother, Frank Como. Mary and her husband loved to dance and were known as the "Fred and Ginger of Buckingham Road." Having won a city-wide art contest at age 12, she was an avid watercolor artist. She was always ready for a good game of gin rummy and was a great baker. A child of the Great Depression, Mary worked from age 13 until her retirement from Gestetner Corp. in 1983. Friends may call at the SINATRA MEMORIAL HOME, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at Mount Carmel Church on Monday at 10:00 am, Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery.
