Edith K. O'Brien, age 85, of Yonkers died Monday, May 9, 2016. Edith was born August 19, 1930 in Bronx, NY. She was employed by Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York, N.Y. as a Chief Of Histology. Mrs. O'Brien was a 20 year volunteer for St. Joseph's Hospital. She also worked for the Yonkers Board of Elections and was a member of the Yonkers Senior Group. Beloved wife of the late George. She is survived by her sons Thomas and John O'Brien and her sister Mary Cohane. Friends may call on Wednesday (TODAY) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers.
