Frank P. Ferraro, age 76, of Yonkers died Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Frank was born January 26, 1941 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Sabatino (Sam) and Angelina (DiLello) Ferraro. He was the oldest of four children. Frank served in the US Army from 1960 until his discharge in August of 1963 and was married on April 24, 1966 to Sue Piccoli. Frank was a dedicated Yonkers Firefighter for 30years and served at Engine 14 for many of those years. After his retirement, he enjoyed golfing and his home in Florida. He was one of the most caring people and made everyone feel welcome. His upbeat nature will truly be missed. Frank leaves behind his devoted wife Sue, his loving children Donna (Guy) Barbara and Frank Ferraro, his cherished grandchildren Miranda, Melanie and Marina, they were the light of his life. Frank is also survived by his siblings; Theresa (Roland) Petruzzi, Nancy Tetto, Maria Ferraro, his brother-in-law Michael (Lucille) Piccoli and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday from 4PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Monday at 10:45 at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241st., Bronx. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation National Office (http://www.arthritis.org/).
