Nicholas (Nick) Del Bene, a lifetime Yonkers resident died peacefully on April 4, 2017 at the age of 88. Nick was born in Yonkers on January 9, 1929 to the late Joseph and Maria (Rattenni) Del Bene. For 36 years, he worked for Refined Syrups and Sugar in Yonkers, NY as a machine operator. From 1947-1948, Nick served in the US Army as a medic. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Campbell) Del Bene. Devoted father of Lynn (Michael) Muscari of Texas and Karen (Charles) Guerriero of Elmsford, NY. Loving grandfather of Michael A. Muscari and great-grandfather of Gabriel N. Muscari. Dear brother of Guido, Valentino, Tony, Joseph, and Maryanne Del Bene. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Thursday (today) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Church on Friday at 10 AM followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
