Obituary of Michele Martelli

On June 23, 2017 Michele Martelli of Yonkers,NY sadly passed away at the age of 59. Michele was born June 9, 1958 in Locri Calabria, Italy.
         In 1998, he moved his wife and 3 children to the United States to the city of Yonkers,NY where they continued to live to this day. As a young man, Michele attended "L'istituto Alberghiero" in Italy, where he found his true calling and passion to become a chef. Ever since then he worked his whole life as a chef in numerous restaurants in Italy as well as the U.S. Michele eventually went on to open his own restaurant in Yonkers called "Calabria Mia", serving as head chef.
         Michele was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was a great friend who touched many lives and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Michele is survived by his wife, Natalina DeLeo. His son, Francesco Martelli (Loren). His daughter and son in law, Teresa and Egidio Bianco. Daughter and son in law, Ivana and Mark DeAddio. Michele is also survived by his 4 beautiful grandchildren, Angelina and Bianca Martelli and Lorenzo and Francesca Michela Bianco.
