Salvatore Anthony Albano passed away peacefully on Friday December 8th 2023 at his home in the Bronx New York. Sal was a beloved father, partner, uncle, cousin, loyal friend and trusted colleague to many. Born on January 12th 1944, Sal was born to Anthony (Tony) and Marie Albano (Connie née Fazio) in Brooklyn New York. Sal was a dedicated and successful retail executive for W.T. Grants and C.H. Martin. He was an avid fisherman, pool player, and enjoyed the summers of his youth in Mt. Tremper, New York and in his later years spending time in Virginia Beach Virginia, Lavalette New Jersey, and his second home in Woodstock New York. Sal is survived by his two sons Anthony of the Bronx and Kenneth of Manhattan, his partner Rita Knipe, several cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his parents Tony and Connie, his step father Joseph Vitiello and his beloved sister and brother Miki and Damian Tomasino. Services will be held at Sinatra's Memorial Home in Yonkers, New York on Tuesday December 12th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and a mass will be held on Wednesday December 13th 10:00am at St John The Baptist Catholic Church in Yonkers.
