David J. James, son of Norman and Elizabeth James, born on April 23, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York.

David had a wonderful and loving childhood. He was a devoted father to his son Naquan Estrich. David was a cook at many establishments, and enjoyed cooking very much, until his health started to decline.

He leaves behind his Father Norman James. 2 brothers, Kenneth James, Norman James Jr. 3 sisters, Elizabeth Hampto-Barrett, Corine Mitchell-Ward, and Norma James. He is also leaving behind 9 nieces,7 nephews, 6 great nieces, and 7 great nephews, and 1 great great nephew. 2 brothers n laws, Cleveland B Barrett, and Abdul Dieng. His Aunt Lena who loved so much, and a whole host of cousins.
