Dora Crump

A Time to Be Born:

Dora was born on September 17, 1941 in Sanford, North Carolina. Dora was born to the union of her late parents Leo Alvis Crump and Dora Vanilla Williams Crump. Even as a young girl Dora was described as being caring, personable, friendly, and family-oriented.

A TIME TO DEPART:

A Time For Praise:

At an early age, Dora accepted Christ. She joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Moncure, North Carolina. Dora loved to sing in the church choir and was also an usher in the church. She eventually moved to New York where she had a host of relatives.

A Time For Education:

Dora received her formal education in the Lee County School System and was a proud graduate of W.B. Wicker, Class of 1959. Her best education was lessons of wisdom taught by generations of hard-working everyday people that were rich in love. From an early age she learned the value of hard work to support her family. Her work ethics and morals are only a part of the legacy she leaves behind for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A Time For Play:

Some of Dora's favorite hobbies were sewing, cooking, and painting. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel, shop, and helped out with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Dora is considered a "fashionista" and is a very classy dresser. She has sewn a lot of her clothes and she was very much into fashion.

A Time For Labor:
