Teresa Cruz Martinez, age 65, of #1 Fr Finian Sullivan Drive, Yonkers died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Westchester Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant, NY. Teresa Cruz was born May 1, 1946 in Santiago. She is the daughter of Juan Nicolas and Rosa Lia (Guzman) Cruz. She was employed by Clothing/Transportation as a seamstress/bus Monitor.She is survived by three sons: Herbert Portorreal, John Martinez, Erik Martinez; her mother Rosa Lia (Guzman) Cruz; Sister of three sisters: Fior Rojas, Angelica Guzman, Geordalina Perez and three brothers: Nicholas Guzman Cruz, Victor Guzman Cruz, Johnny Guzman Cruz; she also leaves behind, four Grandaughters and three Grandsons.A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, August 8 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave, Yonkers, NY with Fr. Terazo Vinci officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson on Monday, August 8 at 11:15 am.
Calling hours will be Sunday, August 7 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY.
