Obituary of Anna Marchionno-Marcello

Anna Marchionno-Marcello, age 42, of Yonkers died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 after a long courageous battle with Leukemia. Mrs. Marchionno-Marcello was born December 3, 1968 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Domenico and Antonietta (Implatini) Marchionno. She was employed as a Financial Analyst for the Richman Group in Greenwich, CT. Anna cherished the time she had with her husband, John. Anna loved spending time with her family, and she especially loved cooking for everyone. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Throughout her suffering, she rarely complained. She always put others ahead of herself, and she was well-loved by everyone she met and she will be dearly missed by all. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Westchester Medical Center with whom she became friends with and who treated her with loving care. Cherished wife of the late John Marcello. Devoted daughter of Antonietta (Implatini) Marchionno. Loving sister of Louise (Robert) Vitolo, Tina (Thomas) Foley and Roger (Valerie) Marchionno. Dear aunt of Robert, Marissa, Frank, Jaclyn, TJ, Domenico and Sophia. Adored daughter-in-law of Jean Marcello and sister-in-law of Pam Marcello. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 at St. John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers.
