John Robert McLaughlin, age 45, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Mr. McLaughlin was born July 15, 1966 in New Haven, CT the son of John Robert and Barbara Helen Chambers. John was a security guard, the Lacrosse and Hockey Coach at Fox Lane High School in Bedford. John was loved by the Faculty and Students at the school. John is survived by his dear mother Barbara, his loving step-mother, Kerry McLaughlin and step-father Hugh McGinley. Adored brother of Kevin,Tim and Liam McLaughlin. Friends may call on Thursday from 7PM to 9PM at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY. A service will be Friday at 11:00AM at Bedford Historical Hall, 608 Old Post Road, Bedford, NY. In Lieu of flowers, please make contributions to BCSD-John R. McLaughlin III scholarship fund c/o Fox Lane HS, PO Box 390, Route 172, Bedford, NY 10506.
