Mildred T. Lauria, age 90, of Yonkers died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the age of 90. Mildred was born November 21, 1920 in New York City to the late Joseph and Tessie (Curcio) Capanaro. Millie was an avid Yankee fan, she loved playing bingo and the slots. Millie was known for her eggplant parmigiana. Beloved wife of the late Michael R.Lauria. Devoted mother of Michael R. (Jane) Lauria, Jr. and Dominick J. (Debra) Lauria. Adorded grandmother of Michael, Kelly, Jaclyn, Matthew and Alex. Loving great grandmother of Shane, Ryan, Ruby and Kiley. Dear aunt of Donna DiChiaro. Sister of Edith Piasta and the late Peter, Anthony, Edward and William Capanaro, Rose Picchianti, Mary Zottolli , Evelyn Zottolli and Dorothy DiDomizio. Friends may call on Monday from from 4 PM to 8 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45 am on Tuesday, October 11 at St. John The Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY. Entombment Woodlawn Mausoleum.
