Obituary of James M. Selja

James Matthew Selja, of the Bronx, NY died on October 7th 2011. Born on June 1, 1967, he was 44. He died after a courageous battle with lung cancer, "Jimmy" passed away peacefully in Westchester from heart failure this past weekend. James was born and raised in the Bronx and spent most of his life there. "Jimmy" was one of five children born to John Selja (late) and Dorothy Selja. James will forever be remembered by his devoted mother Dorothy & loving siblings Nora, John, and Dorothy along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know him. He was preceded in death by his late father, John and younger brother, Joseph. James loved working on classic cars, going to car shows and races, laughing, being with his family, and having fun with friends. James touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday,October 12th, 2011, between 2-4p & 7-9p at Sinatra Memorial Home 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. "Jimmy" will be laid to rest at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY on Thursday, October 13th, 2011.
