Dina Gallego Stern, 36, of Poughquag, New York, passed away peacefully on October 13th with her family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born to Dennis and Rosanne (Buono) Gallego on January 17, 1975, Dina was raised in Yonkers and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. She Graduated from Fordham University in 1997. Dina married her best friend and soul mate, Adam Stern, on October 13, 2002 and together, they went on to become loving and devoted parents to their two young daughters, Danielle, 7, and Sarah, 5. Dina will be remembered for her tenacious spirit, contagious laugh, and sense of humor as well as her dedication and deep devotion to her family and friends. Along with her parents, Dina is survived by her brother, Dennis Gallego and his wife, Jeannine, her sister, Michelle Gallego, her brother -in-law, Bruce and Jen Stern, her mother-in-law, Lorraine Stern, as well as nephews Nicholas, Matthew and Ryan, and niece, Noelle. The family will receive visitors on Sunday October 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York. Funeral mass at St. Anthony Church (Nepera Park) on Monday at 10AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Susan G.
