Raymond A. Wall died peacefully at home after a long illness on November 10th, 2011, surrounded by his family.
Dr. Wall is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce M. Wall; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Tom Lindon; son Raymond A.Wall, Jr.; daughter Ellin Wall; daughter and son-in-law Mary Shannon and Tom Walters; and grandchildren Erin and Megan Lindon, Keeley Boehmer, and Nathan and Luke Walters.
After serving in the Marines, he received degrees from the University of Connecticut and Teachers College, Columbia University. He served Mt. Kisco as both the Executive Director of the Boys Club and the Director of Recreation. Dr. Wall then taught for many years at Westchester Community College.
A Memorial mass will be held on Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 10 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mt. Kisco. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Mt. Kisco Recreation Camp scholarship fund or to the Westchester Community College ABG Business Honor Society Dr. Raymond A. Wall scholarship fund.
