Antoinette D'Apice, age 101, of Dobbs Ferry, formerly of Yonkers died Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Mrs. D'Apice was born December 20, 1909 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Michele and Adelina Marino. She was employed by as a Seamstress for the Ladies Garment Union. Mrs. D'Apice was a of Volunteer at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Yonkers and a communicant at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Beloved wife of the late Dominic D'Apice. Devoted mother of Michael (Arleen) D'Apice, Adele (Stephen) Hanak, Marie (Robert) Tauber and Dominic (Lynne) D'Apice, Jr. Loving grandmother of nine and great grandmother of twelve. Antoinette was pre-deceased by her brother Patsy Marino and her sister Louise DeLucy.
Friends may call on Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester, 311 North Street Suite 204, White Plains, NY 10605.
