Frank Lavaia of Yonkers died peacefully on December 20, 2011 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Irene (Spagnolo). Devoted father of Joseph, loving father-in-law to Diane. Loving grandfather of Daniela, Joseph and Andrew and great grandfather of of Taha, Palwasha, Helena and Giovanni. He was pre-deceased by his loving daughter Catherine and son Francis, his brother Rocco and sister Margie, and is survived by his sister Mary. He was a caring uncle to many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews and the best and loyal friend to those who were lucky enough to be a part of his extended family. Frank was a proud veteran and a member of Local One I.A.T.S.E Stagehands Union for 65 years. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM at The Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11AM at the Funeral Home.
