Adeline Scannapieco (Petrucci) of Yonkers died peacefully in her home on December 21, 2011 at the age of 89. Her family and friends will always remember Adeline for her cheerful, kind and caring ways. Many years ago she worked as a secretary in her beloved husband's business, the Ralph Electric Company on McLean Ave, in Yonkers. Her husband predeceased her in 1987. She was the devoted mother of Al R. Scannapieco and Maria Salerno; she was predeceased by her sister, Gloria (Petrucci) Stevenson of West Palm Beach, FL. She is survived by her brother Quentin Petrucci of Yorba Linda, CA. Adeline was the loving grandmother if Ralph, Al, DeeDee (Rella), Addie (Scipioni), Vinny & Joe Scannapieco, and Robert and Mark Salerno. Adeline also had 12 great-grandchildren, Ralph, Krystina, Alfonso, Nicholas, Domenica, Anthony, Jimmy, Nicole, Mario, Domenic, DeeAnna, and Samantha. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Friday (Today) from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral mass at St. Paul the Apostle Church on Saturday at 10 A.M. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
