Anthony J. "Buzz" DeVito of Armonk died peacefully in his home on December 25, 2011 at the age of 90. His family and friends will remember him as adventurous and outgoing. He resided in Armonk and Naples, Florida. He was an Air Force Combat Pilot in World War II and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, three Air Combat Medals and a Purple Heart. Beloved husband of Maureen Cafferky DeVito. He is predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Ball DeVito. Devoted father of Craig, Dana Hanbury, Angela Antell, Pamela Harden and Lucretia O'Connor and the late Cynthia, Christopher and John DeVito. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Lori Squillante, John DeRaffele, Joan Durkin, Gail Iodice and Kay Levis. Fond grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 9. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church (Armonk) on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
