John J. Joyce, age 86, of Wappingers Falls formerly of Mt. Kisco died Monday, January 2, 2012. Mr. Joyce was born April 2, 1925 in Mt. Kisco, NY the son of the late John J. and Ellen (Mahoney) Joyce. He served in the Army during World War II. John was past Chief of Department of the Mt. Kisco Independence Fire Co. and a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW. He was employed by Local 21 as a Plumber. Beloved husband of Alice "Tipi" (Southworth) Joyce. Devoted father of Ellen Joyce. Adored grandfather of two wonderful grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Joyce. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2 Green St., Mt. Kisco. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Mt. Kisco.
