Krakowiak, Mary, 85, a life-long resident of Yonkers, NY died peacefully on March 3, 2012. Mary was born to the late Anthony and Antoinette (Taddeo) Pezzulo. She retired after working 20 years for the Department of Social Security in 1990, in Yonkers, NY. Mary was very involved in St. Bartholomew's Church, in Yonkers, NY, being an active member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was also very active in senior groups ; Our Lady of Fatima, Annunciation, and Nodine Hill Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with many old time friends. Mary is survived by her brother, Ralph Pezzulo, and sister Nancy (Joseph ) Klausz , her sister-in-law Jessie Pezzulo, four nieces and nephews; Joseph (Nicole) Klausz Jr., Laura (John) Listwan, Anthony (Patricia) Pezzulo, and John (Rose) Pezzulo, and twelve great nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her loving son Michael Ferraro, her husband Zenon Krakowiak, brother Louis Pezzulo, two nieces; Cara Pezzulo and Cathy Turner, and sister-in-law Lucia Pezzulo. Friends and family may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at St. Bartholomew's Church in Yonkers at 10:15 AM, followed by Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
