Katherine Caroline Pember, born on October 29, 1926, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 5, 2012. She was born to the late Olga and Christian Myck in Brooklyn, NY and later raised in Dingmans Ferry, PA. She married and raised her own family in Armonk, NY. She was a nurse at White Plains Hospital for many years as well as a Sunday school teacher to many children. She is predeceased by her late husband Fredrick Pember and son Thomas Pember. She is survived by her three daughters and two sons: Debra Brazee, Nancy and John King, Gary and Debra Pember, Paul and Barbara Pember and Karin and Todd Sterling. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Rachel, Rich, Chloe and Emma Shorten, Eugene Brazee III, Emily, John and Kathryn Pember as well her brother John Myck and many nieces and nephews. There will be private funeral and internment for immediate family only. A memorial service will be held at Hillside Church, 448 Bedford Road, Armonk, NY on March 31, 2012 at 11:00 am. This will be a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Attn.
