Rose Calamari (nee Bernardi) passed away on March 8, 2012. She was born on February 1, 1923 to Giovanni and Domenica Bernardi on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Rose was married on April 27, 1947 to the late Chester Calamari in New York City. She was a devoted wife to her dear Chet. She is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara DeVito, son-in-law, L. Richard, grandsons Richard and John, his wife Lisa, and their son (her great-grandson) Johnny.
Visitation will be at Sinatra Funeral Home on Yonkers Avenue from 3pm to 7pm on Sunday, March 11th. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 12th at Annunciation Church in Crestwood at 10am. Internment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in the Shrine of Memories.
