Adriana Lombardo passed peacefully in Peekskill, NY on Tuesday April 10, 2012. She was 85. Adriana was born on September 25, 1926 the second of four children to Maria Philip DiMarco. She married the love of her life, Joseph Lombardo on October 8, 1961. Sadly, Joseph predeceased her. Adriana is also predeceased by her sisters Anne DeNicholas, Algia McCrea and Alba Johnsen. A lifelong Yonkers resident, Adriana was a graduate of Yonkers High School, worked for the NY Telephone Co and as a bookkeeper, Lombardo & Erling Agency, the business her husband started. Adriana enjoyed all sports and was an avid equestrian. She treasured her family, faith, the pursuit of knowledge and music. She was an active member of her church choir and an avid reader. She graced many community stages in Westchester with her beautiful singing voice alone and in four part harmony with her three sisters. Adriana is survived by her two children, Philip Lombardo and Carla Baione, daughter in law Dianne Lombardo, son in law Thomas Baione and seven grandchildren, Philip, Noelle and Matthew Lombardo and Alexa, Rachel, Rebecca and Michael Baione. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, on Friday April 13, 2012 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service at the Asbury Methodist Church, Crestwood, NY on Saturday at 10 AM. Entombment Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
