Nicholas J. Poccia, Jr., age 51, of Yonkers died Friday, August 31, 2012. Mr. Poccia was born October 2, 1960 in Yonkers, NY the son of Nicholas and the late Joyce Poccia. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and beloved wife of 24 years Janet (Wagner) Poccia, his loving daughter Nicole Poccia,his father Nicholas Sr.and his step mother Sylvia, his dear sister Debra. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Jaqueline, Jennifer, Diane, Billy, Eddie, Keith, Billy Bobby, Danielle, Courtney, Jessica, Michael, Josh and JB. Nicholas was a loving and kind husand, father and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:45 at St. John The Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
