Marianna Di Chiara, age 90, of Yonkers died on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Marianna was born January 28, 1922 in Chiusa Sclafani, Italy, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosalia (Gendusa) Troia. She met her late husband Michele (Michael) in Italy and was married in Yonkers over 50 years ago. She is survived by two sisters, Rosaria Tortorici and Rosa Talamo, and two brothers, Antonio and Antonino Troia. The youngest of six siblings, Giuseppina Lembo, predeceased her in 1996. Marianna was blessed with 21 nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY on Sunday, October 14th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral mass will be at St. John the Baptist on Monday at 10:45AM. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
