Falco Antonio D'Emilio, born October 17, 1931 in Palena, Abruzzo, Italy to Carmine D'Emilio and Giacinta Campana D'Emilio, passed away on October 17, 2012.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria Isacco D'Emilio and their daughter Dr. Anna D'Emilio & husband Antonio Velazquez, son Carmine D'Emilio & wife Christine, daughter Lena D'Emilio & fiance Joseph Durante, and daughter Dr. Diana Zondorak & husband Stephen. He has three grandchildren - Jason LaLima-D'Emilio, Layla Marie Zondorak, & Victoria Rose D'Emilio. He is also survived by his brother Domenico D'Emilio in Vancouver, Canada and his sister Lina Ferrara in Switzerlland. He was preceded in death by his 3 sisters Maria, Rachele, and Rosa, all of Italy.In 1951, Antonio served in the Italian Army for 2 years. In 1956, he moved to the U.S. and settled in Yonkers, N.Y. where he established his trade in masonry. Years later, he returned to Italy and, in 1964, he married Maria Isacco. They returned together to the U.S. and permanently settled in Yonkers where they established their new life together with their family. Forever in our hearts, he will always be remembered as a loving & devoted husband and father, and a wonderful friend to many.Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.Funeral mass at Saint Bartholomew Church on Monday at 11am. Entombment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
