Telesforo "Jimmy" Colon, age 73, of Hartsdale died Thursday, December 27, 2012. Mr. Colon was born January 16, 1939 in Moca, Puerto Rico the son of the late Clemente and Maria (Velazquez) Colon. He was employed as a Manager in the Pathology Department at North Central Bronx Hospital Center. He is survived by his beloved wife Olga Yeremenko. Loving son of Maria (Velazquez) Colon. Devoted father of Migdal, James, Jackie, Melissa, Tomiko and little Ivana. Dear brother of Max Colon, Mita Colon, Leila Colon, Elba Colon, Josephine Lopez, Noemi Colon, Minerva Williams and Clemencia Neyland. Jimmy was also a devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Hastings Funeral Home, Inc., 15 Spring Street, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at Hastings Funeral Home, Inc., 15 Spring Street, Hastings-on-Hudson. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
