Herbert C. Schumacher, a longtime Yonkers resident died peacefully on December 28, 2012 at the age of 81. For many years he was a bank manager in the Bronx. During the Korean War he served in the U. S. Marine Corps. Beloved husband of Marlene (Tietjen) Schumacher. Devoted father of Richard (Donna) Schumacher, William Schumacher and Carol Marie Rose. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Ryan and Todd Rose and Kristin and Peter Schumacher. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Wednesday from 4-9PM. Funeral service on Thursday at 10:00AM followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
