Rose Marie Cerrato, a life long resident of Yonkers, passed away on January 10th with her family by her side after a brief illness. She was 87 years old. Rose was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Agnes (Malangone) Pecora and was married to the late Alphonse A. Cerrato. She is survived by her two sons, Yonkers City Court Judge, Robert C. Cerrato and Stephen A. Cerrato, a local accountant. Also surviving is a daughter in law, Patricia (Kuss) Cerrato, grandsons Robert P. Cerrato Esq. and wife Kellyann (Milo) Cerrato, Stephen A. Cerrato Esq. and wife Angela-Joy (Lifrieri) Cerrato, Tyler Cerrato a member of the US Marine Corp. and granddaughter Pamela Cerrato a speech pathologist. During her life she worked for the Westchester County Dept. of Probation and as a legal secretary. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:45 at St. John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
