Luigi "Louis" Fata, age 91, of Yonkers died Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Mr. Fata was born August 11, 1921 in Cosenza, Italy the son of the late Antonio and Maria Grazia (Gaudio) Fata. Louis was a proprietor and chef at Peppino's Restaurant and Louie's Pizzeria in the Bronx. He is survived by his beloved wife Luisa (Greco) Fata, his devoted children Anthony Fata, Joseph Fata and Maria Reda. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 at Christ The King Church, 740 North Broadway, Yonkers. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
