Raffaele "Ralph" Di Donato, a long time resident of Yonkers, died peacefully at 3:38 AM on February 11, 2013 at Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, N.Y. Ralph was born on May 29, 1949 in Montelapiano, Italy to Giovanni and Concetta (Palumbo) Di Donato. He is predeceased by his parents and brothers, Mario and Biaggio. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Maria (D'Agostino) Di Donato and three daughters, Connie (Chris) Piarulli, Daniela (Mike) Nizza and Monica (George) Goulart. There are also 7 grandchildren who will miss their Nonno; Christopher, Mikayla, Matteo, Max, Gabriella, Isabella and Mia. Ralph also leaves behind beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Ralph worked at Jacobi Hospital for 30 plus years and touched the lives of so many with his wonderful sense of humor, generous nature and love for cooking. He will be missed by all. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Wednesday from 4-9 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church (Bronxville) on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Ferncliff Rosewood Mausoleum.
