Frank C. Corbo, age 84, of Nanuet, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Joe Raso Hospice Center of New City, NY. Frank was born January 4, 1929 in Mt. Vernon, NY. He is the son of the late Anthony and the late Genevieve (Girardi) Corbo. He married ElisaMartinelli.
He served in the Marine Corps during World War II from 09-30-1946 to 09-17-1948. He was employed by Avon Products, NYC as an Art Director.
He is survived by his wife: Elisa(Martinelli) Corbo , one daughter: Karen (Joseph) Napolitano and one son: Frank (Sara) Corbo Jr.; Brother of one sister: Viola Junjulas; he also has three grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Granddaughter, Nicole Pennella; Great Granddaughter, Olivia Pinella; Brothers, Anthony - Angelo - Vincent Corbo; Grandson, Christian Corbo; Granddaughter, Lorie Napolitano.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45 am on Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. John The Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY with Rev. Thomas Valenti officiating. A graveside service will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Sprain Road, Yonkers, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers on Friday, March 1 at 12:00 pm.
