Henry A. Davidson, age 83, of Mt. Kisco and a former Bedford resident for 55 years, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Henry was born March 2, 1930, the son of the late Henry Arthur and Blanche (Guskie) Davidson. Henry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the proud owner of Towne Upholstery in Chappaqua for 49 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Betty (Mackey) Davidson, his only son Scott Henry Davidson and his only grandchild Elyse A. Davidson. Also surviving are his brother Addison (Monica) Davidson of Pleasantville, two sister Lucille (Frank) Rotondo of Brewster and Linda (Tom) Mitchell of Naples, Fl. and many nieces and nephews. Henry proudly served his country during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force in Japan. A great self made man who was a wonderful father and mentor to his son, Scott. Henry was a loving and proud grandfather to Elyse, spending most of his time working on his home so his family can enjoy it. Henry also served on the Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps and belonged to the Mt. Kisco Masonic Lodge for 52 years. He will be truly missed and always in our thoughts and prayers. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hospice Care of Westchester, 570 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY 10591.
