Please share a memory of Frances to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frances Giardina of Mt. Kisco entered eternal life on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was born to Diego and Giuseppina Acquista in Canicatti, Sicily in Italy. She married the love of her life Charles Giardina in 1933 in New York City. They resided in Mt. Kisco where they raised their three children, Charles (Buddy) Giardina, Rosalie Thorn, and Marie Giardina, all who survive her. She was predeceased by four siblings, Anthony Acquista, Ann Giardina, Rose De Luca and Joe Acquista. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. The cherished memories of her remain forever in our hearts. Her ever ready beautiful smile, her selfless nature, and her gifts of unconditional love are a treasured legacy she leaves us. She lives forever deep in all of our hearts and she truly lived the Prayer of St. Francis. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Beginning Experience, care of Janet Swartvagher, 1991 Route 9G, Staatsburgh, NY, 12580. We, her family, are grateful to each of you who cared and shared life with her. Pray with our family for her to rest peacefully with her beloved Charlie, now reunited with him in God's Kingdom. Her family will receive friends at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, Mt. Kisco, on Monday, April 1, 2013, between 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mt. Kisco. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
