Josephine M. Di Dio, a lifetime resident of Mt. Kisco, NY died peacefully on April 2, 2013 at the age of 71. Josephine attended Fox Lane High School and graduated from the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Yonkers, NY. After graduation she worked as a nurse for St. Joseph Hospital and later for the Northern Westchester Hospital for many years until her retirement. For over 30 years Josephine was an active member of the Mutual Engine & Hose Co. #1 Auxiliary of Mt. Kisco. Beloved daughter of the late
Joseph and Rose Di Dio. Cherished sister of Dorothy (Francis) Bradley and the late Betty Moore and Frances Hughes.Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Josephine will be remembered for her keen sense of humor and will be missed by her many friends. Friends may call at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mt. Kisco on Friday from 5-9PM. Funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Jude Childrens' Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 in her memory will be greatly appreciated.
