Mary Solimine Grubiak 75, went to be with her heavenly family on June 11, 2013. She was born in Yonkers, NY on September 30, 1937, to the late Mary and Alfonso Solimine. Mary attended PS 23 Elementary School, Franklin Junior Middle School and Yonkers High School. In her late teenage years she went to work at Refined Syrups, that is where she decided real estate would be her life's work. Or at least she thought. Then she met James F. Grubiak and they married on November 18th 1962. Together they raised two children, John and Ann Marie. Her children were truly the loves of her life. They gave her, her deepest loves, her grandchildren. Victoria, Julia, Michael, Christopher and Emma. She also deeply loved her animals, Lassie, Duke, Sasha and Friskie. She is survived by her husband James F. Grubiak. And her son John and his wife Barbara, her daughter Ann Marie Anzilotti and her husband Paul. And all of her beloved Grandchildren, who forever she will be forever proud of. She is also survived by her two sisters Joan and Eleanor. She will also be missed by all of her wonderful nieces and nephews and their children for whom she deeply loved. As well as her cherished friends. Her brothers Louis & Vincent and sister Phyllis are up in heaven with her. Mary had an infectious smile and lived a very free spirited life. She had a love of family dinners, Broadway, music and dancing. She touched the lives of all the people she came to know. She passed away at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital on June 11, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, Jim, Ann Marie and John.
