Frank J. Altamura Sr. died peacefully at home on June 23. He was 93 years old. Frank was born February 25, 1920 to the late Graziano and Barbara Yozzo Altamura. He was a lifelong resident of Mt. Kisco. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama for three years. He married the former Mary Dilolli, for 66 years at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mt. Kisco. Frank retired from the Mt. Kisco Post Office and was a member of the NALE for 55 Years. He is survived by his wife Mary, son Frank, his brother Joseph Altamura, sisters Theresa Wright, Anna Cuscina, sister-in-law Florence Dilolli and 17 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Grace Marcelloi, brother Nicholas Altamura and his daughter Diane Elizabeth Altamura. Friends may call at the Olkeler & Cox Funeral Home in Mt. Kisco on Wednesday 4-8 PM. A service will be held at the funeral Home on Thursday at 10am with the interment to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
