Olga Harklerode, age 89, of Yonkers died Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Olga was born June 30, 1924 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Paul and Eleanor (Liberati) Rubeo. She was employed by as a School Lunch Aide for the Yonkers Board of Education. Beloved wife of the late Charles Harklerode. Loving mother of William (Carolyn) Harklerode, Paula (Michael) Geary, and Elizabeth (Louis) Bousche. Dear sister of Eleanor Bova, Josephine Yazurlo and Elizabeth Mancuso. Olga was predeceased by her brother, Victor Rubeo, sister, Constance Ciarnella and grandson, Michael Geary. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday from 4PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Saturday at 10:00 at St. Denis Church, 470 Van Cortlandt Park Ave., Yonkers. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY, 10532.
