Benito Davila, age 82, of Yonkers, NY, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Mr. Davila was born March 23, 1931 in Galecia, SPAIN. The son of the late Manuel and Sara Lorenzo Davila. He moved to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 1949 and worked as a restaurant owner and managed a resident building in the center of Rio. Benito moved to Yonkers, United States in 1979 and retired as a maintenance mechanic in 1995 from Liberty Lines.
Beloved husband of Maria Davila. Loving father of Tony (Angela) and Carlos (Jen) Davila. Dear grandfather of Kira, Iggy, Nicholas, Fabiana and Ben. Brother of Clotilde, and the late Antonio, Manolo, Francisco, Joaquim, Maria, Alfonso and Saro. He had a great sense of humor and he enjoyed playing and watching soccer, gardening, singing and playing with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
