Obituary of Thomas A. Jensen

Tom, 'TJ', Jensen died on August 11, 2013 at age 52. 52 is relatively young, but TJ relished life and lived every moment with love, humor, joy, patience and music. Chronological age only measures years. If we measure the impact of people on our lives, the joy they bring to others, the values they live every day, and the love they so freely give to family and friends, then we would like to say TJ lived to a ripe old age. We thank his deceased parents, Sonny and Jeannie, for giving us the gift of TJ. TJ was a very creative musician, but the greatest works of art he ever helped to create are his two sons, Jack Jensen (15) and Matt Jensen (12). To see the three of them together gave you hope for mankind because it is hard to imagine a father who loved, appreciated, cheered and supported his sons more than TJ. Like TJ, they are a special gift to this world and to all of us who have the honor of knowing them. Not many of us find our soul mates in this life and very often a life is spent searching for our one true love. TJ is one of those lucky people who found his other half in Lynn Gaudio. TJ and Lynn were like peanut butter and jelly - both different, but together creating something so wonderful you wonder how the world didn't have it before. TJ and Lynn gave us hope for enduring, selfless and deep love. We celebrate TJ - who he was, what he did, how he shared his love and talent with us, and the gift to the future he gave us in Matt and Jack. He was, quite simply, an incredible man. Please join us in celebrating a very special person who deeply touched our lives. Services will be held at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home 262 Main St. Mt Kisco, NY. Wednesday 8/14, 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9 PM and Thursday 11AM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to a local school or University towards their Music and Sports programs.
