Savino Joseph De Benedetto passed away suddenly on October 5, 2013. Born in Yonkers, NY on February 22, 1947, Sam resided in Canaan, NY. He is survived by his Mother, Racheal Paolicelli DeBenedetto, Sister Joanne, Brother Michael, sister in law Rosemary and sister Leanora and his partner Leanord Gibbs. Sam served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and later became a Registered Nurse working at various hospitals in Manhattan & later retiring from the Coronary Care unit at Albany Medical Center. Sam worked as a Nurse at Jacob's Pillow, a dance center/school in Becket, Massachusetts. He was also a licensed Massage Therapist
