Salvatore Castaldo, 87, of Yonkers, NY passed away on October 31, 2013. Born in Yonkers on July 25, 1926 to the late Vincenzo and Antoinette Notaro Castaldo. He is survived by his brother Patrick. Predeceased by his bothers Dominick, Nicholas, Fred and Frank and sisters Lucille Inglis and Fanny Minozzi. Salvatore also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He worked at the Castaldo bakery in Yonkers for many years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving overseas during WWII. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Bartholomew's Church, 15 Palmer Road, Yonkers, NY. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers. Arrangements by Sinatra Funeral Home, Yonkers, NY.
