Please share a memory of Roberta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Roberta Maureen Langhans, age 79 of Armonk NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning, December 12, 2013. She was born in Mt. Vernon NY to the late Louis Robert Palisi and Mary Belfi Palisi on September 17, 1934. Roberta worked as an administrative supervisor for the Bell Telephone Company for several years, where she met her husband William. However, her true passion was working with children as she has also worked at Wampus Elementary School and for 20 years at the Armonk Nursery School caring for the youngest children. She took a great deal of pride watching the successes of the children she cared for as they advanced through their schooling and was affectionately known as Mrs. L by the children and their parents alike. Roberta is survived by her husband William to whom she has been married for 47 years; and her two sons, Gary and Glen to whom she devoted her life and all of those who have ever appreciated her love and kindness. Her passing leaves a void in all of our hearts. The family will receive friends at the Oelker-Cox and Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E Main Street, Mt Kisco, NY from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Sunday December 15, 2013. The Funeral Mass will be held at St Patricks Church in Armonk at 10am Monday, December 16, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105
