Obituary of Stephen E. Rinaldo

Stephen Edward Rinaldo, 66, of White Plains, died Tuesday December 17, 2013. He was born to the late Joseph and Maria Rinaldo, Aug. 28, 1947, in Manhattan. Steve graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965 and Pace College in 1972. He married Jana Autieri on April 12, 1975, and they lived together in Yonkers, NY, before relocating to White Plains in 1988. Steve was a store manager for Automatic Heating Supply Co. for 50 years until he died suddenly. His friends, family and co-workers would describe him as kind, passionate, caring, and devoted. Devoted to his business and industry he was recently awarded the Man of The Year award for the Oil and Energy Service Professionals. Before moving with his family to White Plains, Steve was an usher at St. Ann's Church in Yonkers for the handicapped mass, and was an active member of both St. Ann's Parish, and Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Valhalla after he had relocated. Among other things, Steve was involved with his community outside of the church as a member of the Dunwoodie Youth Association, United States Bowling Congress for youth bowlers, and the Oil and Energy Service Professionals which was closely related to associations such as Oil Heat Cares, and The Yonkers Public Schools. A loving and devoted father, employee, relative, and friend, Steve is survived by his wife, Jana Rinaldo of White Plains, two children: Stephen Andrew Rinaldo, and Stephanie Rinaldo both of White Plains, NY; and a Sister Rosemarie Rinaldo of Yonkers, NY.
