Obituary of Jean E. Riccitelli

Please share a memory of Jean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jean Ellen Riccitelli, 85, our angel and the bedrock of our family, passed into eternal peace on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Jean was born to the late Harry and Rose Krupa, August 6, 1928, in Olyphant, PA. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1946. Jean married her longtime sweetheart Vincent Riccitelli in 1956 at St. Mary's Church. They were happily married for 57 years and made their home and raised their children in Yonkers. Jean found her joy in the simplest, purest things in life - friends, family, laughter, and love. She was adored by all that were fortunate to know her. A caring and giving woman of exceptional fortitude, grace and beauty, and constant moral purpose, she dedicated her life to building a home for her family and supporting the dreams of her beloved children. Jean's strength, endurance and reliability were unmatched. She worked at the New York Telephone Company for 40 years without missing a single scheduled work day, all while providing an extraordinarily consistent blanket of care to her family, and with a sweet smile on her face. Jean is survived by the family she loved and cared for so dearly: her husband and best friend Vincent, three children: James Riccitelli of San Francisco, Laura Cohen of Old Tappan, NJ, and Vincent Riccitelli of Yonkers, daughter-in-law Perlina Riccitelli, son-in-law Howard Cohen, grandchild Aiden Cohen, sister Helen Donney, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents and five sisters: Doris, Ann, Rose, Kay and Hope. And some very grateful and loving cats. You'll always be with us, remembered and loved. Godspeed, dearest angel.
