Perhaps Steve and his family had no idea what a huge impact they made on so many people, especially those immigrants in their neighborhood. Steve's and his family's warmth and kindness help propel so many of us to attain those dreams that once seemed like distant stories in books. Steve was the same wonderful person at our 25th reunion, and we were so looking forward to seeing him again. May he be in that place of rest and eternal joy granted to those that have so generously given of themselves for the benefit of others.

We grew up with Steve and stayed friends throughout adulthood. There was never a kinder, caring person, and we are already missing him. Deepest sympathies to Marianne, Jean, Lorraine, and the rest of the family.
